The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has issued a press statement to inform that the District Court for Warszawa-Śródmieście in Warsaw has ruled in favor of the KNF, dismissing the cases against KNF made by three holders of bonds of GetBack SA.
In its judgement, the court noted that the plaintiffs failed to demonstrate the „unlawfulness of the action“ as well as the lack of due diligence on part of the KNF as far as its supervision over market participants is concerned. Also, there is no causal link between the damages they suffered and the activities of the KNF.
