New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1183 regarding restrictive measures with respect to the Democratic Republic of Congo was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Regulation modifies Annex IA of Council Regulation (EC) No 1183/2005 – which includes the names of persons, entities, and bodies that are related to violating the arms embargo towards the Congo and thus are subject to asset freezing measures – to remove two persons from that sanctions list.
