Counter Terrorism Designations Updates; Counter Narcotics Designations Removals; Venezuela-related Designations Removals

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has published a press release to inform about new sanction measures. Specifically on June 29, 2023, the Office removed 15 individuals and entities from its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List) that were previously sanctioned pursuant to Executive Order 13850 and / or Statutory Instrument 31 CFR Part 598, the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Sanctions Regulations. For their names and other identifying information, please refer to the press statement.
Additionally, OFAC also announced the modification of the records of two already sanctioned entities and an already sanctioned individual pursuant to Statutory Instrument 31 CFR Part 594, the Global Terrorism Sanctions Regulation. The affected parties are the following:
