On June 29, 2023, the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings) (Revocation) Order 2023 was published on Singapore Statutes Online (SSO), the official website of the government for publicizing legal documents. The order revokes several other orders, including the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for Companies, Variable Capital Companies, Business Trusts, Unit Trusts and Debenture Holders) Order 2020, to repeal All COVID-19-related provisions pertaining to the holding of (general) meetings.
In the meantime, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has established new rules (effective July 1, 2023) which permit the holding of (general) meetings in physical, virtual, or hybrid form.
