Venezuela-related Designations Removals; Global Magnitsky Designation Update

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has published a press release to inform about new sanction measures. Specifically, the Office removed four persons from its ‚Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List‘ (SDN List) which were previously sanctioned pursuant to Executive Order 13850 or Executive Order 13692 in connection with the combatting of corruption within the government of Venezuela and the fight against human rights abuses of senior government officials.
