New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2121 with respect to sanction measures against individuals and entities engaged in the development of a nuclear program in Iran and / or the support of the Iranian government was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Regulation modifies Annex IX of Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 which includes a list of parties for which asset freezing measures are applied for any such reason. Specifically, the records of one entity has been updated and entirely replaced after a recent review of the list by the European Council. The affected entity is the following:
