ID 26190

The Dutch Pension Federation published an article for sharing pension data through Appointment System Pension Services.
Pension data for participants is becoming more dispersed in the pension sector. To meet participants‘ expectations of comprehensive digital services, collaboration in sharing pension data is crucial.
Recently, the Dutch Pension funds APG, Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW), PGB, PGGM, Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek (PMT), and the Pension Federation signed an MoU, urging the sector to join in creating an effective Agreement System. This initiative, supported by the Pension Federation, focuses on sharing pension data to develop low-cost and user-friendly digital services, providing participants with better pension insights for informed retirement decisions.
The Agreement System for Pension Services outlines rules for reliable sharing of pension data among entities in the pension sector, with participant consent and adherence to GDPR regulations. A future management organization will ensure that all involved parties comply with the rules, reinforcing trust in the collaboration.
Proactively shaping data sharing frameworks in the pension sector ensures adherence to sector principles and quality standards. The signatories of the Memorandum of Understanding have taken a step forward by developing the Agreement System and are collectively committed to its further professional advancement.
