The Companies Act 1967 (Amendment of Fifteenth Schedule) Notification 2023 was published on Singapore Statutes Online, the official platform of the Singapore government for publicizing legal documents. This notification exempts foreign companies from maintaining a Register of Controllers, a Register of Nominee Shareholders, and a Register of Nominee Directors as required under Part 11A of the Companies Act provided that they are primary listed on an authorized Singapore exchange (and thus already have to oblige with listing rules in this context).
Schedule 15 of the Companies Act 1967 is modified accordingly.
