The new Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2023 were published on Singapore Statutes Online, the official Singapore website for publicizing legal documents. The Regulations modify regulation 89A of the Companies Regulations as regards the specification of what constitutes a public interest company for purposes of the requirements under the Companies Regulations (e.g. registration, financial reporting, or auditing obligations) to stipulate that a public interest company* is also a „relevant financial institution approved or treated as having been approved under section 4 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2022“.
