Consumer Investments data review April 2022 – March 2023

Alongside the 2-year update on the Consumer Investments Strategy (see eventid=24379), the FCA has published a report where they describe how they tackle consumer harm in the UK in the period between April 2022 – March 2023. FCA lists the following main achievements regarding this topic:
– stopped unreliable investment firms from entering the market
– published alerts on untrustworthy firms and individuals
– secured consumer money from unauthorised businesses.
