Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1563 of 28 July 2023 implementing Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

In view of the persisting aggression of Russia towards Ukraine and a related fake news campaign called RRN, Recent Reliable News, which aims to manipulate information so as to support Russia’s war, the European Council has placed further individuals and entities on the EU sanctions list. In new Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1563 which was now published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU, the Council placed seven individuals and five entities on the sanctions list set out in Annex I of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 which specifies sanction measures towards persons, bodies, and entities threatening „the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, or stability or security in Ukraine“. The affected parties are the following:
