Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2125 with respect to sanction measures imposed due to serious human rights violations in Nicaragua or the repression of civil society and / or political opposition was published on EUR-Lex, the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Regulation modifies Annex I of the Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1716 which sets out a list of sanctioned persons, firms, and entities by replacing the records of six individuals and one entity that are currently placed on the list and subject to asset freezing measures. The affected parties are the following:
