Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/… of 26 June 2023 implementing Regulation (EU) No 359/2011 concerning restrictive measures directed against certain persons, entities and bodies in view of the situation in Iran

New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/… regarding sanctions measures directed towards person, entities, and bodies engaged in or supportive of serious human rights violations in Iran was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. It amends the list of sanctioned parties set out in Annex I to Council Regulation (EU) No 359/2011 by adding seven natural persons to the list following the continued aggression against demonstrators by security forces, the unlawful detainment of such demonstrators, and the restriction of internet access to the general population in the country. The following individuals are affected by the asset freeze:
