The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation of the HM Treasury (OFSI) has published a new Financial Sanctions Notice regarding sanctions measures with respect to persons and entities involved in or supportive of serious human rights violations and / or the suppression of society and political opponents in Myanmar pursuant to Statutory Instrument SI 2021/496, the „Myanmar (Sanctions) Regulations 2021“. Specifically, the OFSI informs that it has updated its sanction list by amending the records of one entity on its sanctions list which remains subject to asset freezing measures. The following company is affected and the updates are as follows:
