Guidance: Financial sanctions: guidance

The HM Treasury and its Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) have updated their website containing various financial sanction guidances by issuing an entirely new guidance on upcoming „Financial sanctions webinars and events“ by the OFSI. Specifically, the new guidance will keep financial market participants informed of any such events which are aimed at providing information on
(1) how financial sanctions can impact UK financial market players;
(2) how market players can make applications for licences for the permission of conducting otherwise prohibited financial transactions;
(3) how the application for licences are assessed by OFSI; and
(4) where further guidance and information on financial sanctions may be found in this context.
In this first edition, the Treasury and OFSI announce an upcoming „Introductory Webinar“ in October 2023 which is, however, not yet open for public registration.
