The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published a new „toolkit“ concerning its new campaign to inform of and raise customer awareness about so-called loan fee fraud. As with all toolkits published by the Authority, the material contained in this presentation may be used by „partner firms“ – that is firms supervised by the FCA and operating in this line of business – on their own websites or their social media to support the FCA in its efforts to prevent harm from consumers. Accordingly, there’s no prior approval necessary for the use of the information, including the use of infographics.
In this particular case, the FCA’s toolkit contains various graphics to warn customer about such fraud and to refer them to a three step check on preventing such fraud when seeking to apply for a loan. The toolkit also includes informative material for „partner firms“ about the FCA’s (upcoming) promotion and corresponding promotion dates.
Please note that the „actual“ toolkit consists of multiple files which are compressed in a zip file. This zip file is attached to this event.
