The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has issued a press release to inform about the imposition of a fine of PLN 139,900 on TUiR Allianz Polska SA for 18 cases of violations of Article 14 of the Act of 22 May 2003 on Compulsory Insurance, Insurance Guarantee Fund and Polish Motor Insurers‘ Bureau. The violations ocurred between 2017 and 2020 and involved the refusal of or delay in the payment of legitimate insurance claims.
The fact that TUiR Allianz Polska SA has taken adequate measures to prevent any future violations has been taken into account when determining the amount of the fine.
