A new consolidated version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2070 was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Implementing Regulation sets out the technical standards including the templates, definitions, and IT-solutions to be used by institutions when reporting to the European Banking Authority and to competent authorities the results of the calculations of their internal approaches for the exposures or positions that are included in the reference portfolios.
The new consolidated version includes the amendments made by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/313 which modified several annexes to adjust the standards for the upcoming 2024 benchmarking exercise. Please refer to EventID #19558 in this context for more details on the latest amendments.
