A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 with respect to sanction measures directed against persons and entities associated with ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
The consolidated version contains the amendments made by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1149 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1140 which modified Annex I of the 2002 Regulation containing a list of sanctioned parties to replace the identifying information of one person which remains subject to asset freezing measures and remove two persons from that sanctions list.
