A new consolidated version of the Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 with respect to sanction measures against individuals and entities engaged in or supportive of Iran’s nuclear program or supportive of the Iranian government was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
The consolidated version contains the amendments made by Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/853 which modified the entry of one entity in Annex IX of the 2012 Regulation and removed one person altogether from that Annex. Annex IX includes a list of parties for which asset freezing measures are to be applied. Please see EventID 20733 in this context for more information on these latest modifications.
