New consolidated version: Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 of 17 March 2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 regarding sanction measures directed against (legal) persons, bodies, and entities „undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine“ was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The document contains the modifications made by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/426 which extended the reporting obligation of legal persons, entities, and individuals as regards fund transfers relating to subsequently frozen accounts (all transactions two weeks prior to a person’s / entity’s designation must be reported) and implemented new central securities depositories reporting requirements (on occasion and periodically) as regards securities and fund transfers involving persons or entities subject to asset freezing measures.
