A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 regarding sanction measures directed against (legal) persons, bodies, and entities „undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine“ was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The document contains the modifications made by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/1089 which expanded the list of reasons based upon which entities and persons may be sanctioned to include immediate family members of leading business persons generating substantial income to the Russian government.
