A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 356/2010 as regards sanction measures against (legal) persons, bodies, and organizations in light of the situation in Somalia was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
The Regulation contains an amendment to Article 2(3) setting out the list of reasons for being sanctioned. The amendment was made by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/155 which expanded this list of reasons to include legal and natural persons or bodies associated with „Al-Shabaab“.
