The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has published a press release to inform about new sanction measures. Specifically, the Office removed one entity from its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List) that was previously sanctioned pursuant to existing sanction regulations (Executive Order 13662 and / or the Ukraine-/Russia-Related Sanctions Regulations (31 CFR Part 589)) for its connections to Gazprom. The affected entity is the following:
SKODA JS A.S., Orlik 266, Plzen – mesto PSC 316 06, Plzen, Czech Republic; Executive Order 13662 Directive Determination – Subject to Directive 1; Secondary sanctions risk: Ukraine-/Russia-Related Sanctions Regulations, 31 CFR 589.201 and/or 589.209
