PRA Regulatory Digest – January 2023

The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has published the latest version (January 2023) of its monthly regulatory digest. The digest outlines the Authority’s ongoing regulatory activities ranging from the launch of consultations, to the issuance of policy statements, to the implementation of regulatory changes and provides links to corresponding (legal) documents. The regulatory digest presents a viable source of information to stay up-to-date on regulatory issues and to ensure preparedness for upcoming changes as it furnishes a briefly summarized overview of all relevant ongoing issues.
This latest version presents the following highlights:
– the launch of Consulation Paper (CP1/23) as regards the „Management Expenses Levy Limit (MELL)“ for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) for 2023/24 (please see EventID 19220 in this context);
– the publication of a Dear CEO Letter presenting the insurance stress test results 2022 (please see EventID 19280 in this context); or
– the publication of a new Dear CEO Letter addressed at international banks operating in UK to outline the PRA’s regulatory priorities for 2023 (please see EventID 19066 in this context), to name a few.
