The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has published a press release to inform of several decisions that the KNF made at its meeting on July 21, 2023. These include the following, among others:
(1) The decision to ban Horus International Group sp. z o. o. from providing payment services due to various violations, including the failure to report relevant transaction information (number of transactions, value of transactions) in 2021 and 2022.
(2) The decision to permit the withdrawal of shares from trading on the Warsaw stock exchange or its alternative trading system of
– Summa Linguae Technologies SA located in Kraków as of August 1, 2023 (ATS withdrawal) and
– Arteria SA located in Warsaw, as of August 1, 2023.
(3) The decision to authorize the acquisition of 14 shares of Pracownicze Towarzystwo Emerytalne (PTE) Orange Polska SA by Orange Polska SA from TP TELTECH Sp. z o. o.
Other decisions of rather lesser importance concerned the approval of one person as presidents of the Management Board of two registered insurance companies, namely Compensa Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń SA Vienna Insurance Group and Compensa Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie SA Vienna Insurance Group, both located in Warsaw.
