The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has published a press statement to inform that the exchange itself and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in various strategic areas. This partnership aims to support the development of both organizations and their markets. The MoU entails plans for cross-border listings, joint product development, and initiatives related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, including sustainable finance promotion in Asia. This collaboration seeks to strengthen ties between the two regions and enhance their financial market positions. The MOU was signed by the CEOs of HKEX and IDX, witnessed by prominent officials from both sides.
