Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2435 relating to sanctions with respect to the situation in Myanmar/Burma was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Regulation modifies Council Regulation (EU) No 401/2013 – which sets out a corresponding sanctions framework – by updating and replacing the records of two individuals and one entity that are currently placed on the sanction list set out in Annex IV to the 2013 Regulation. The update follows a recent review of the list by the Council. The affected parties are the following:
