Starting from 4 September 2023, reports of suspicious market abuse as regulated by Article 16 of the MAR Regulation (Stor, Suspicious Transaction and Order Report) can only be submitted to Consob through a new dedicated web application.
This application will be available by accessing the „Services for Operators / Compliance / Markets“ section of the Consob website. In the same section under this link, the authentication procedure for accessing the web application is described. A user manual, including operational guidelines, can be found in the „Services for Operators“ / „Manuals“ / „Markets“ section of the Consob website as well.
The features and usage instructions of the new web application will be presented during an in-person event at the Consob headquarters in Milan, located at Via Broletto, 7, on 18 July 2023, at 15:00.
Due to limited capacity at the event venue (38 people), remote participation will be available via the GoToMeeting platform. Details regarding remote connection will be provided closer to the event.
The presentation is aimed at operators who organise and manage a trading venue, as well as industry associations representing the entities mentioned in Article 16, paragraph 2, of the MAR Regulation. Associations may, within the aforementioned capacity limits, indicate the participation of a limited number of their members by sending an email to segr.mercati@consob.it. The email should include the preferred mode of participation (in-person/remote), the participant’s name, position, telephone number, and contact email.
