New Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/960 concerning the „annual application date of the calculations of the average daily number of transactions for shares, depository receipts and exchange-traded funds“ by trading venues for purposes of the tick size band widths to be applied for trading in such instruments was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The delegated regulation modifies Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/588 (RTS 11) in that it now stipulates that the annual application date shall be the first Monday in April following the publication of the average daily number of transactions for shares, depository receipts and exchange-traded funds in the previous period by competent authorities.
