Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2196 of 16 October 2023 implementing Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 concerning restrictive measures against Iran

New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2196 with respect to sanction measures against individuals and entities engaged in the development of a nuclear program in Iran and / or the support of the Iranian government was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
The Regulation modifies Annex VIII and Annex IX of Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 which each includes a list of parties for which asset freezing measures are applied for any such reason. Specifically, all records in Annex VIII are deleted and added to Annex IX to ensure the continued application of asset freezing measures towards such entities and persons. As the list of individuals, firms, and bodies is quite large (>40), we refrain from listing them individually at this point.
