The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has published its 2023 annual Industry Snapshot covering the business year 2022. Therein, FINRA presents key statistical data on regulated market participants and their activities. This latest edition includes a wide range of aggregate industry data ranging from the size and geographic distribution of the firms FINRA supervises, to the number of individuals operating and licensed in the industry, to the most often applied marketing methods by FINRA member firms. The document also provides information on overall industry revenues and expenses and on marketing-related filings as regards investment company products (investment fund information sheet, performance reports, etc.)
