The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has published a press release to inform of several decisions that the KNF made at its meeting on June 30, 2023. These include the following:
(1) The decision to withdraw the permission of Social.pl sp. z o. o. – NON-PROFIT as a payment service provider due to various violations of the Payment Services Act, including the failure to report relevant transaction information (number of transactions, value of transactions) between 2019 and 2022 to the regulator .
(2) The decision to not to object to a direct acquisition of KGHM Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA (KGHM TFI) in the excess of 50% of voting share capital by Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu SA and the indirect acquisition of such shares by the State Treasury.
(3) The decision to authorize the appointment of „Bartosz Zawisza as a member of the Management Board of Pocztylion-Arka Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne SA with its registered office in Warsaw“, a pension fund provider in Poland.
