A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 101/2011 relating to sanction measures imposed due to the situation in Tunisia, or specifically, in connection with the misappropriation of Tunisian state funds, was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
This consolidated version includes the modifications made by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/2694 which inserted new Article 4a to provide a derogation from the terms and regulations on the freezing of funds or the making available of funds so long as these funds are used for purposes of providing humanitarian aid and / or supporting basic human needs by certain organizations.
