A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 1284/2009 in connection with sanction measures „in view of the situation in Guinea“ was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU.
This consolidated version includes the modifications made by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/2694 which inserted new Article 8a to provide a derogation from the terms and regulations on the freezing of funds or the making available of funds so long as these funds are used for purposes of providing humanitarian aid and / or supporting basic human needs by certain organizations.
