New consolidated version: Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 of 17 March 2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

A new consolidated version of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 regarding sanction measures directed against (legal) persons, bodies, and entities „undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine“ was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The document contains the most recent amendments to the Council Regulation made by
1. Council Regulation (EU) 2023/426 which modified articles 6b, 6e, and 8 of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 to (a) permit certain derogations from asset freezing measures and (b) oblige central securities depositories and entities, persons, and bodies to provide additional information to NCAs as regards transfers of funds in accounts that are subsequently frozen – please refer to EventID #19746 in this context for more information and
2. Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/429 which added 87 individuals and 34 entities to the sanctions list set out in Annex I of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 – please refer to EventID #19748 in this context for more information.
