Consob published in its Newsletter a document outlininig the use of the online reporting system for submitting reports of suspicious transactions that may constitute market abuse.
Starting from 4 September 2023, individuals obligated to report suspicious transactions constituting market abuse (STOR) under Article 16, paragraphs 1 and 2, of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) must exclusively use the dedicated online procedure accessible at the following link: https://www.consob.it/stor-fe/.
This regulation is designed to ensure the integrity of financial markets in the European Union by preventing insider trading and market manipulation.
From that date onwards, communications submitted through methods other than the online procedure will not be accepted.
Please note that for obtaining the necessary credentials to access the new system, users must send an email to desk-stor@consob.it following the instructions outlined in the specific procedure (https://www.consob.it/documents/11977/2286053/All_1_Procedura_Rilascio_Credenziali_Segnalante.pdf/9d163f87-7a3b-23f6-d922-4ca15bc8a675?t=1688394141971).
Additionally, updated guidelines for using the new system are detailed in the „User Manual – Operational Guide for External Users,“ available at the following link (https://www.consob.it/documents/11977/2286053/All_2_Manuale+Utente+Final.pdf/695db2ab-9b77-bbd7-3de2-d14cb4c4d653?t=1688394058598), which is recommended to consult when making the initial submission.
