Reminder to file the 2023 Annual Report of Blocked Property

Following its notice published early July 2023, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has again issued a press release to remind individuals, firms (including financial institutions), and entities to file the „Annual Report of Blocked Property (ARBP)“. This report includes a list of all blocked property holdings as of June 30, 2023. The list must be submitted to OFAC by September 30, 2023. Persons, companies, and entities which do not hold blocked property as of the date specified do not have to file the report. For those having to file the report, the enclosed xls file must be used for submission; upon completion, the file must be sent to ofacreport@treasury.gov or be filed via the OFAC Reporting System (ORS). OFAC has also attached corresponding guidelines on filing the 2023 blocked property report. You may view them if you follow above noted link or consult the files attached to this Event.
