The Polish Financial Supervision Authority, KNF, has published a press statement to encourage payment service providers and institutions in Poland subject to the Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2), Directive (EU) 2015/2366, to participate in an upcoming workshop of the European Banking Authority, EBA, which will take place on July 4, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Workshop on reporting serious incidents under the PSD2 directive will be held in Paris, France, on the premises of the EBA and will consist of „presentations, round tables / panel discussions, Q&A sessions and instant polls, as suitable, to ensure the mutual exchange of information“. The following topics will be covered – as quoted:
– Incident management and incident reporting: interplay and synergies, best practices, tools, compliance challenges
– Analysis of operational and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) risks based on the aggregated assessment of major incident reports: trends and challenges
– Focus on cyber incidents: trends, emerging threats and possible mitigating measures
– Next steps: further options for the exploitation of aggregate information on major incidents at European level and anonymised case studies
Registration may be made via this link up to May 30, 2023. As there is a limitation on the number of participants, EBA reserves the right to chose participants to represent a good mix of firms and institutions.
