Form 5 – Auditor’s Report – For a Holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence Form 6 – Auditor’s Certification – For a Holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence

The Monetary Authority of Singapore, MAS, has published two newly updated forms to be submitted by capital market service (CMS) license holders:
Form 5 – Auditor’s Report – For a Holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence
Form 6 – Auditor’s Certification – For a Holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence
The first Form 5 must be used by CMS holders to submit their auditor’s reports on their businesses. The second Form 6 must be used to submit the auditor certification on audited financial statements.
Both forms must be submitted within five months after the end of the financial year of a CMS holder and should be completed online and lodged via FormSG.
The forms apply to the following market participants – as quoted:
Firms dealing in capital markets products, product financing firms, companies providing custodial services, licensed fund management companies, corporate finance advisory firms, REIT management, securities crowdfunding firms.
