The Republic of Belarus (Sanctions) (EU Exit) (Isle of Man) (Revocation) Order 2023 (SI 2023/553) was published on legislation.gov.uk, the official platform of the UK government for publicizing legal documents. The order revokes the Republic of Belarus (Sanctions) (EU Exit) (Isle of Man) Order 2021 (SI 2021/1257) which extended the applicability of the Republic of Belarus (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/600) to the territory of the „Isle of Man“ with some minor adjustments for local particularities.
According to the explanatory note, the reason for the revocation is that the 2021 order is no longer needed as the island has meanwhile drawn up sanction regulations pertaining to Belarus on its own.
