The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, OCC, has published an updated version of its Licensing Manual: Branches and Relocations. The Manual sets out the notification and application requirements of (foreign) national banks and savings associations seeking to relocate or establish a branch or to move a head office to a different location.
The Manual thereby describes the
– content, form, and timing of the public notice in connection with relocation or establishment plans;
– the information that must be furnished to the OCC when filing an application of branch or head office relocation or a new branch establishment;
– the conditions for an expedited review of the application material by the OCC;
– notification requirements following the opening of a new branch; and
– the validity of an approved application.
This latest revised version contains only minor modifications to
– update legal reference following updates to Statutory Instrument 12 CFR Part 5 and other rules and regulations and
– make technical, non-substantive modifications.
