The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen (FI), has published a press release in connection with trade reporting to its TRS 2 System. TRS 2 is a transaction reporting system to which investment firms and trading venues that „deal“ in securities and / or that undertake management services on behalf of clients must report certain transactions.
Specifically, the regulator requests all firms that have previously had their reports rejected due to „incorrect validations with error codes CON-070 and CON-160“ to now resend their transaction data. The error which was caused by wrong validations of „Buyer and Seller LEIs“ has now been corrected by the Authority.
