Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/571 of 13 March 2023 implementing Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/571 as regards sanction measures in view of actions that undermine or threaten the „territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine“ was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The regulation follows a recent review of the sanction measures and their suitability and validity by the European Council.
The Implementing Regulation thereby modifies Annex I of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 setting out the list of natural and legal persons, entities and bodies subject to restrictive measures to
– update the information on 171 individuals and 65 entities and
– remove the entries of three deceased persons and two persons that were listed twice.
The following entries are affected by the removal; for the list of persons and entities whose records were modified, please refer to the regulation itself.
