New Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/853 with respect to sanction measures against individuals and entities engaged in the development of a nuclear program in Iran and / or the support of the Iranian government was published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. The Regulation modifies Annex IX of Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 which includes a list of parties for which asset freezing measures are applied for any such reason. Specifically, the records of one entity have been replaced and one person has been removed altogether after a recent review of the list by the European Council. The affected parties and entries are the following:
#### Heading II, Subheading A – Persons in connection with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps
Entry #10 referring to „Rostam QASEMI (a.k.a. Rostam Qassemi; Rostam GHASEMI)“ has been removed.
#### Heading I, Subheading B – Entities involved in nuclear or ballistic missile activities and persons and entities providing support to the Government of Iran
Entry #12 referring to „Etemad Amin Invest Co Mobin (a.k.a.: Etemad Amin Investment Company Mobin; Etemad-e Mobin; Etemad Amin Invest Company Mobin; Etemad Mobin Co.; Etemad Mobin Trust Co.; Etemade Mobin Company; Mobin Trust Consortium; Etemad-e Mobin Consortium)“ has been replaced with the following:
