Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/890 relating to sanctions imposed due to the situation in Syria has been published in the Official Journal (OJ) of the EU. It amends the list of sanctioned natural and legal persons, entities, and bodies set out in Annex II to Council Regulation (EU) No 36/2012 by removing one person from the sanctions list who is no longer subject to asset freezing measures. The affected individual is the following:
