The EBA has published an updated list including the institutions, which are obliged to report within the framework of the 2023 EU supervisory benchmarking exercise.
The purpose of this exercise is to aid Competent Authorities in evaluating the effectiveness and reliability of internal approaches implemented by financial institutions for determining risk-weighted exposure amounts. EBA conducts this assessment by utilizing well-established data collection procedures and formats commonly used in regular supervisory reporting.
The 2023 exercise will be conducted on a sample of 117 banks from 16 countries across the EU and the EEA.
