Form 26 – Notice of Commencement of Business / Additional Regulated Activities by a Person Exempted from Holding a Capital Markets Services Licence under section 99(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d)

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has issued a revised form that must be lodged by (legal) persons that are exempt from holding a capital markets services license relating to the commencement of business or the performance of other activities which the person has not yet performed. The affected form is:
Form 26 – „Notice of Commencement of Business / Additional Regulated Activities by a Person Exempted from Holding a Capital Markets Services Licence under section 99(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d)“.
Please ensure to submit the form via e-mail in a single password-protected zip file. All accompanying attachments must be in machine-readable format and must be sent along with the form. „The password should be communicated to MAS via a different medium (e.g. telephone).“ Also, please ensure to keep the deadlines for submitting the form (no later than 14 days before business commencement or the addition of new activities).
Form 26 of firms commencing business anew should be sent to: webmaster@mas.gov.sg. For all other firms, the form shall be submitted to their designated MAS Officer.
