DNB published news regarding the digitalization of the notification of group transfer of accrued benefits (CWOs). Starting from 9 October 2023, life insurance companies and premium pension institutions (PPIs) are required to report their intended CWOs through the Mijn DNB platform. This digitalization process simplifies the reporting procedure for insurers and PPIs, making internal handling more efficient and organized.
It is now possible to easily initiate new reports of intended CWOs, review submitted reports, and terminate ongoing applications. Reporting a CWO is made simpler than before, as it is only necessary to provide relevant information for the specific intended CWO through filtering questions. Additionally, communication regarding the intended CWO is done through Mijn DNB, allowing you to have all the information about the report in one place.
The reporting form has undergone some content changes aimed at process optimization. All reporting parties must declare that they are not providing personal data, and PPIs are required to specify how they handle the model agreement established by the Association of Insurers. PPIs are also expected to request and include a solvency statement from the receiving party on the reporting form.
In addition to the new reporting form, the internal handling of reports has been further digitized. Information from submitted reports is automatically extracted and summarized before the evaluation process, making the assessment more organized and enabling more efficient handling of your reports.
Insurance companies and PPIs are no longer allowed to report intended CWOs via email. Only reports submitted through the new reporting form in the Mijn DNB environment will be processed.
