The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) has published revised forms in relation to its so-called „Bulk Letter Forwarding service“ for insurance companies and pension scheme providers seeking to get in touch with scheme participants or clients that cannot be contacted otherwise. Specifically, the „Forwarding Service“ is a service offered by the DWP to trace affected individuals and forward a corresponding general note letter to clients to ask them to get in contact with the pension scheme or insurer.
The revised forms are those used for requesting the DWP to send the „enclosed, unsealed letters“ to the list of customers provided in the form, namely
– the typical request form BLF1015 and
– the visually impaired request form BLF1015.
In each form, the e-mail address of the DWP where the forms have to be sent to by pension schemes and insurance companies has been changed to bulkletterforwarding.servicesenquiries@dwp.gov.uk.
